Are you a writer who’s dreamt of writing for a living? What if I told you that’s possible!

Here are the steps you can follow to make your writer dreams possible:

#1: Start A Website

Creating a website is the first thing to start with. I would like to recommend using WordPress or any of your liking. Once you get your website up and running, add your pages, such as; about page, books, courses, shop, and free downloads. So many people today can make tons of money from the comfort of your home online, it’s amazing!

Everyone’s life is different, whatever your life circumstances are, you can make the time to work on your website because it’s important to you and your dream of being a writer.

#2: Write Your Books Every Day

Writing is a labor love, especially for storytellers who feel like writing stories is always fun but not work. Write your book everyday, no matter what your life situation may be. Did you know that David Baldaaci isn’t just an author, but a lawyer too? With a full time job, he would be up at two a.m. in the morning writing his book, which he eventually published. If he can make the time to write his book, so can you.

It’s not about time management, it’s making the time to do something you know makes you happy, and fulfilled.

#3: Create Exclusive Paid Content

Creating paid content I feel is the fun part, here are some ideas you can consider to make money:

  • Courses
  • Workbooks
  • Ebooks
  • Guides
  • Printable bundles
  • Membership

and so on…

#4: Start A Online Store

The best money you can make is from an online store. Whether it’s on Etsy, Shopify, or any other online store platform of your choosing. This is the fastest way to make money, it’s easy to do, but there’s definitely work involved.

Here are some product ideas you can sell:

  • Merchandise inspired by your stories
  • Printable bundles of valuable information on how to write stories
  • T-shirts
  • Your books
  • Mugs
  • Checklists

#5: Make Money On Social Media

Did you know it’s possible to make money on social media? To do so, you must complete the criterias on the social platform. For example, on YouTube, you need 500 subscribers, first 3 uploads and one of 4000 watch hours or 3M views on shorts. Depending on which platform you use, the criteria’s will be different.

#6: Freelance

Can you imagine how much money you can make alone doing freelance and offering a service for other writers?! Not only it will boost your credibility, you’ll be working on a foundation of your career as an author too. This is a great way to start earning, and you can make it your business and promote it on all of your social accounts to generate clients.

And, there you have it, the actionable steps you can do now and make a living as a full – time writer.
